Electronic Exhibit Abstracts
General Instructions:
The lead author must be the only corresponding author
At least one author must register for the ISS refresher course
Both ISS members and non-members may submit abstracts
Exhibits may be submitted in the following categories:
Scientific research papers
Educational & pictorial reviews
Technical reports & pilot studies
Case reports & case series
Exhibits Category Definition:
Scientific research:
Scientific articles in the format of hypothesis, methodology, results, conclusion & references
Educational/Pictorial review:
Educational articles on a topic with specific teaching points on radiological interpretation and patient management
Technical reports & pilot studies:
Short technical reports on new techniques in diagnostic and interventional radiology.
Small pilot studies with <20 subjects included in the study population.
Case reports & cases series:
Reports on rare conditions or descriptions of previously un-described radiological findings that is based on <20 subjects.

Abstracts must be submitted through the online abstract portal
Abstracts must be received by Friday February 24, 2017.Announcements of approved abstracts will be made in April 2017. All submissions must be HIPAA-compliant and patient confidentiality must be protected. No patient names or other identifying information can appear in the presentation. Due to our blinded peer-review policy, the abstract cannot contain author names, institution names, location, or any information that may identify where the work originated. Non-members of the ISS including residents or fellows in training (radiology, pathology, rheumatology, orthopedics, sports medicine, etc.) and applicants for membership to the ISS are encouraged to submit abstracts. No need for ISS co-author involvement in the abstract.
